Meet the Parents

The Dams:  The mother dog lives in our home with us, participating completely in our lives.  We choose very carefully from a nationwide selection of male dogs to sire our litters.  Details on the Sires are listed below.

Everlasting Joy is a first cross (F1) medium Labradoodle.  Joy produces beautiful F1B Miniature Labradoodles.  She has a wavy hair coat and a pretty tail.  Her coat color is cream with apricot tips; it's very easy to brush and never tangles.  Joy is very intelligent, always quick to attention and to learn new commands.  She's very  people-focused and as faithful as they come.  Her favorite activities are snoozing at my feet and frolicking with our boys and Bella.  Joy is a graceful runner and a beautiful sight with her curls bouncing in the sunshine. She has soulful amber eyes and wonderful eye contact.  Joy is a fantastic mother to her puppies.

We have again chosen Signature Armani of Tuscan Ridge Labradoodles to sire Joy's Fall 2008 Miniature F1B Labradoodle litter. The Photos page has many more pictures of Joy and her pups.

 

The Sires
The sires of Naper Doodles' litters are Miniature Poodles, thus granting the huge advantages of a smaller size and low-to-non-shedding coats (see our description of an F1b).  Because we use artificial insemination (AI) we are able to choose the best sires nationwide to continue improving the traits of Labradoodles.  We searched for an exceptional stud for Joy's Fall 2007 litter and found him in Signature Armani of Tuscan Ridge Labradoodles.

"Armani" has a luxurious dark red coat, as dark as they come.  He is the perfect specimen of a Poodle.  He is elegant and graceful and runs like a deer... it's like poetry in motion!  He is majestic.  Armani is loves to buddy up and sleep with you or watch TV for hours.  He is extremely lovable and does not know a stranger.  Armani is show-quality and a rare find.  He is working on his Canine Good Citizen certification.

For Joy's Spring 2007 litter of F1B Labradoodles the sire was Maestro Verdi, also of Tuscan Ridge Labradoodles.

"Maestro” has a gorgeous soft spiral fleece/wool red coat of the richest dark red, fantastic temperament and numerous health test-- all with great results. Maestro comes from a very healthy line in which his grandparents lived 20+ years!  He is best described as "extremely calm, intelligent, very affectionate, confident and a lover-boy" Maestro's owner says "Snuggling right up under my chin is one of his favorite things to do, as well as lying on the back of the sofa. Everyone that meets Maestro comments on how calm he is and wants to take him home."  Maestro is a rare find!
