Letters from the Families of Joy's Second Litter

Hi Tasha, I hope you and your family are enjoying the summer.  I probably sound like a broken record... but, if it were possible, Wrigley gets sweeter each day. Everybody goes up to him & cannot say enough.  It's amazing.  He always just has this cute little expression on his face.  Just the other day Steve called me to come in to the room where Wrigley was because he was laying on our bed holding his stuffed animal with his paws.  I cannot help myself, all day long I say look at Wrigley now... I must kiss him 100 times a day... If he's laying on the couch or bed next to me I sort of take him in my arms and he just lays there.  Yesterday Wrigley & I were at the park and I took his leash off because I knew he would stay by me... he's just soooooo good. Thank you, thank you, thank you ;-)

I think about you all the time & how grateful I am that we met!!   I could write every day about him.  Just today (basically like every other day) Steve & I had a couple of groups of people stop us when they saw us walking with Wrigley... they said exactly what so many people have said lately about him... he's so well behaved.  Monday night I had some girlfriends over and they all left saying goodbye to Wrigley as if he were a little boy.

P. S.  There's only 1 thing he's not crazy about............and that's when I'm on the computer..... so little by little he brings me his toys and drops them in my lap to play with him :-)
Very Fondly, ~ The Ryback Family ~

Hi Tasha, Yesterday Steve & I took Wrigley to meet Finn.  We thought it would be nice to get the boys together since we live so close to one another and if ever needed to watch the other dog.

Anyway, it was absolutely adorable :-)  They immediately took to one another as if they knew they knew they were related.  I can't tell you the "Joy" it gave us.  It would have been great to have their mama there as well.  We were comparing some of the things they do & how similar they were to one another.  They both prance instead of running, they can both be big wusses, they each wake us up kissing our faces, they have the same shaped nose & eyes. Wrigley is taller and weighs about 32 lbs. & Finn weighs about 26 lbs.  They just ran around playing with one another.  It was great. I hope your summer is going well.
Very Fondly, ~ The Ryback Family ~

Hello Tasha.  I am writing to you from my couch on this cool cloudy day in Naperville.  So much has been going on these past few weeks that I've been remiss in getting back to you.

First of all the big news.  My job was eliminated last week.  As the result Sophie is getting a lot more Mom time.  I've never "not worked" in over 30 years so it is strange not having the schedule to chase.  Meanwhile I've been working on my own website www.foodcommunity.tv  I am hoping to expand it now that my days are free with a goal of getting enough hits so someone wants to advertise on it.  Eventually I want to be able connect farmers, chefs and manufacturers to produce  products.  It's a big goal but one that I have a lot of passion for. The website you sent me is a real inspiration - I can spend too much time on that site, it's amazing.  [Connie is referring to one of my favorite websites: www.pioneerwoman.com

Sophie is doing well.  Last week Camp Kelly was in full swing as we had Teddy Christensen for the week.  I have attached a few photos of him and Sophie - I could send more but it will probably mess up your email.  It was extremely hot last week so they weren't too keen about being outside but they got along extremely well.  One of my favorite memories is Sophie laying in her bed as Teddy would drag her around the floor as they played tug of war with a toy.  This happened every day.  Ted is a real honey boy and we all miss him although I know Laura was extremely happy to see her baby when she got back.

A business associate of Keith's got a mini labradoodle a few months ago based on our experience.  Seeing Sophie's pictures, and checking out your website made their decision very easy.  Hope you and your family are doing well and that country life is a happy place.  I think I will be taking a road trip out to Iowa soon so Sophie and I can hang out by my parent's lake.  Ah - to enjoy a lazy summer day!
Love,
~ Christoff/Kelly Family ~

Tasha, I don't even know what to say about Wrigley any more... each day I tell Steve it's hard to believe he gets sweeter and cuter... he is truly amazing.  Just one more thing about Wrigley... when he wants to play he gets one of his toys and brings it to me... and if I don't play with him he sort of drops the toy in my lap, but if I move an inch he grabs it so fast you can't believe it... he's just so funny... he makes up his own games.

Oops... one more thing I have to tell you... although I may have mentioned this before, when we decided it was okay for Wrigley to sleep with us, we almost had to hold him captive in our arms so he would stay on the bed with us.  Now one of his favorite spots is laying on my 2nd pillow behind my head... when I wake up he is literally crouched down staring at me and waiting... the minute I move he starts kissing my face. He's an angel. Hope all is good with you and your family.
Very Fondly,
~ The Ryback Family ~

It's a really great website and I've sent people who are getting a puppy to it numerous times for the links and helpful information (even when they're not getting a doodle)  - you should be proud of it and all the work you've done to breed some fabulous little dogs!  I can't tell you how happy I am that we found you (and Sadie)!  All the best to you and your family,
~
The Mistretta Family ~

Thank you Tasha for your updated information.  I've been thinking about dropping a note just to say "Hi" and ask how you are all liking "Farm life".  :)

I've recently starting taking Teddy to the dog park at Blackwell Forest Preserve several days a week and he absolutely loves it!  He makes friends with everybody - human and canine!  I marvel at how amazingly fast he can run, and how gleeful he looks when he zooms through the fields.  I am so glad that we got a dog with such a gem of a personality and temperament!  I'm also glad I took him to Narnia for multiple classes because he is so well socialized.  I marvel at how smart he is too.  I can say "Where's Lindsay?" or "Where's so-and-so (fill in a family member's name) and he will go to their bedroom and look for them.  He gets each name right.  He also knows that when I say "Window" it means we go up to Courtney's bedroom, where her bed is next to a window, and we open the window a few inches for him and he lays on the bed with his front paws on the window sill and presses his nose to the screen to sniff the air!  He also knows that my grandpa keeps a tennis ball hidden under his couch, and each week when we go see him Teddy sticks his paw under the couch to retrieve the hidden ball to play with my grandpa.  We just love Teddy to pieces and can't imagine life without him!  He is truly like another child/sibling in the family!  I often bring him with me on errands if it's not too hot or too cold out, and he naps in the car while he waits for me.  He loves coming into the Natural Pet Market with me when I shop for him.  He helps select his own treats!  :)  His cutest new thin he does is to climb up on the armchair in the family room that backs up to the 1/2 wall dividing our kitchen and family room.  He rests his head on the 1/2 wall so that all you see of him from the kitchen is his cute face and floppy ears resting on the wall.  He does this to watch me make meals or watches us when we eat meals.  I guess it's his version of TV!  I hope all is well with all of you!
~ Christensen Family ~

Tasha, I just wanted to let you know how wonderful Ginger is.  I never could have imagined loving a dog so much.  She really is a great dog, but we can't seem to stop her from jumping when we first walk into the door.  Other than this she is a perfect dog.
I'm sad you are not breeding any more.  These dogs are fabulous!
~ Zimmer Family ~

Hi Tasha! I hope this note finds you and your family well!  I was sending some photos of Sadie (like the proud mama I am) to a friend in Arizona this morning and thought I would send them your way too.  Things are great here - we are so happy to have Sadie in our lives!  She's 27 pounds of pure joy and we love her so much!  Not sure if the photos show it or not, but her nose has turned a dark shade of pink.  Doctor says it could be "winter nose" and may turn black again after the winter (which can't end soon enough for me - how's the weather in Lincoln's backyard?)  Hope you all had a great Christmas and are enjoying your new home! When (and if) you're breeding puppies again, let us know, as lots of folks have asked us about how Sadie came to be:)
~ Love, The Mistretta Family ~

Hi Tasha, Just a note to let you know how Wrigley is doing :-)  He is our little pride & joy.  Every day Steve & I look at one another & say how lucky we are to have had Sadie & now Wrigley.  He is so sweet.......it's amazing.  I don't stop kissing him & he doesn't stop kissing me. The other day I said to Steve Wrigley is so sweet.......just like his mother Joy....and then I said.........actually I think he's even sweeter than Joy........You should have seen Steve.....he said come on, how could you possibly know that?!  ...and Joy was so sweet :)  He loves his toys, he loves to run & play & then he loves to snuggle up against your legs.  He's adorable.........and so smart.  The other day he had something I didn't want him to have, so I said drop it & then I said come.  I gave each command only 1 time & he dropped it & came to me.....he's so funny.......he's so proud of himself when he does something like that.  Anyway as you know by now we are absolutely crazy about him.

I just had to fill you in on our Wrigley.  I would also like to wish you and your family a very healthy and happy New Year. Very Fondly,
~ The Ryback Family ~

I didn't want another minute to go by without thanking you for the Two Boston's gift card.  We'll be taking Sophie shopping this weekend! We are always happy to introduce anyone to the wonderful world of Labradoodles.  The Mack family was very nice. (They ended up getting a pup from our last litter! ~Tasha) I think that her husband was totally in with getting a Labradoodle after 5 minutes after meeting Sophie.   I believe I'm getting together with Teddy and his family this Sunday.  I just love seeing pictures of him running in a field.  We are taking Sophie to Iowa for Thanksgiving.  I'm hoping that she can be "off the leash" out there.  That girl loves to run.

Keith and I are so grateful to you and your family for bringing Sophie into our lives.  Each day she is becoming such a comfortable part of our family.  She is all love and we are so happy to have her in our lives. I have a feeling that this Spring and Summer we will be traveling into Central Illinois to to some videotaping some local farmers. When we do I'll make sure to let you know so we can get together. Happy Thanksgiving to you and family. Love,
~ Christoff/Kelly Family ~

We're so excited for all of you!  That's wonderful news! I was going to drop you a note today to tell you again what joy Teddy brings to us and others.  Teddy and I have been going for regular long walks on the Prairie Path and not a single walker, runner or cyclist passes by without at least smiling at him.  Many of them say what a beautiful dog he is.  One woman exclaimed that he was the cutest dog she'd ever seen!  :)  Many want to pet him and he happily obliges.  It is such fun to see what joy he brings to others, as well as our family.

Another cute routine that I have to share with you is my morning "rounds" with Teddy to wake the family.  When my snooze alarm goes off Teddy and I go into each of the kids' rooms to open the shades and Teddy goes from room to room with me and jumps up on each bed to give each of the kids a morning kiss and nuzzle before we move onto the next room.  The day seems to start much more happily this way than it ever did without him.  How can you not feel happy with Teddy's adorable face and helicopter tail greeting you each morning?! I can't wait to follow the pictures and growth of the new puppies.  The kids will enjoy it too!
~ Christensen Family ~

Hi Tasha, I hope you can see most of these pictures.  I took them of Wrigley this morning before I went to work in honor of his 1 Year Birthday today.  I hope you can see #34.......I was taking his picture, he was posing for me & heard something outside at the same time.  I think he was trying to stay still & look out & it is really just a precious picture :-)  He is soo cute even with his hair shaved several weeks ago because of the matting.  Every time I look at your website & see the things I've written about Wrigley I sort of shake my head & smile & think, yep, that's my Wrigley  :)  :)  I wonder if any of the people that stop me with Wrigley ever contact you about getting a dog like him :)  Wrigley & I can hardly ever go anywhere without being asked if they can pet him & then are in awe of his silky hair.  He & I already know the routine ;-)

I hope things are beginning to settle in place for you & your family.  It sounded pretty hectic.
Your new puppies are just adorable, but I couldn't be happier with the one I got!
~ The Ryback Family ~

Sophie is doing great.  She is settling in and becoming a great dog and truly is a member of our family.  We even worked in a weekend in Michigan (the weekend of the rain) at a cabin that takes doges.  This girl likes water and was fascinated by the waves in Lake Michigan.  I just love that she wants to be outside and run around - I wish we had a few acres for her to patrol. Happy Fall!
~ Christoff/Kelly Family ~

Thank you for the birthday wishes!  We can't believe the first year has blown by so fast!  What joy Teddy has brought into our lives!  We couldn't have wished for a better breeder to work with.  You're like extended family now!  :)  Thank you for the invitation to visit when we're down you're way.  We'll keep the idea tucked away for a future date!
Enjoy your new bundles of love!

~ Christensen Family ~

Happy to do it [she had some new customers over to visit] - my Sophie is such a joy that I want everyone to be as happy.  I took her to the Riverwalk yesterday in DT Naperville.  She is like a walking banner for the breed.  Kids love and adults want a dog like her.  She melts their hearts.
~ Christoff/Kelly Family ~

Dear Tasha, I was so sorry to read that your grandmother passed away.  I hope you will find your memories of her comforting at this sad time.

I have read & re-read your e-mail several times.  The move to your family farm truly sounds like an awesome change of lifestyle for you and your family.  There have been many times I have thought to myself how neat something like that would be :-) and you are going to live it!

I do need to confess that sometimes I wait to write a day or so to collect my thoughts, because Wrigley & I are so attached to one another that if he is here next to me while I am emailing it may take several hours to complete.  Either I stop to pat his head (I call it his kep...pi  ...another Jewish word that I find so endearing) or he takes his paw to put it on my arm.....or he gets a squeaky toy until I cannot stop laughing from him.  Steve & I cannot really believe it is possible, but Wrigley brings us more & more "Joy" every day.  He is just such a sweetheart :-)  I feel comfortable in saying that all the families that have their little Labradoodle from you, Tasha, must think of you with such warmth & pride to know they found such a wonderfully bred dog.  He is just amazing!!!!!!!!

I just attached a couple of pictures of Wrigley in another e mail... I hope you get them... I was having trouble getting them on here. Have a wonderful day. Very Fondly,
~ The Ryback Family ~

Tasha, Congrats on the exciting news!  Sometimes I wish I could be on a farm and learn to simplify our lives.  It's great that you can make it happen now, please keep in touch and let us know how things are going. Winston is doing wonderful (37 lbs.).  He is so loving and worships me.  I can't understand why the rest of the family can't be like this!  Winston and Vader ( 90lb. black lab) are best buddies and are constantly play fighting.  Winston thinks he is a vampire and constantly is attacking Vader's neck but it is all done very playfully. I'll send you a picture soon.
~ The Allcock Family ~

Dear Tasha, Congratulations on your decision to move! I am sure the Lord will bless your family with much happiness in your new home! It is so important, especially these days, to do what is best for our children.

Thank you for all your support with our wonderful pet Toby.  You are a great breeder and we are very pleased with Naperdoodles.  You breed beautiful, healthy dogs.  Thank you for always answering our questions.  We love our dog!  I think we would be hard pressed to find a breeder that we would trust as much as we have grown to trust you. Best of everything to you and your family!  Hope the renovation goes smoothly! All the best,
~ The Schauer family ~

I saw Wrigley with his Cubs jersey on your website! Isn't he adorable?  I can hardly take a walk with him, without having several people each walk stop & ask me all about him......it's amazing!  So many people ask me where I got him & I wonder if any of them ever contact you?!  Can you believe this litter is almost 11 months old?  He's still such a puppy.  I always refer to him as "me & my shadow"..........when I go to make the bed he jumps on it so I can't make the bed.  If I say let's go in the car, he gets in, sits down & waits for me.  When we go outside he is always so excited I can hardly get his leash on him with all his hair & he's just so excited.  He's such a doll... and no one can ever get over how soft his hair is!  I know I am rambling on & on, but Tasha he is just so fun!  The minute he hears the garage he knows Steve is home & can't get there fast enough.......... Take care,
~ The Ryback Family ~

I love these pics.  I keep on showing the groomer how Ella's head is clipped because I think it looks great.  They keep on giving her a poodle pompadour.  I will just keep trying. You mentioned that this is Joy's last litter.  I hope all goes well and that hew next round of pups are as great as Sophie's.  Being able to see how well Teddy, Murphy and Sophie are developing as been a sense of such happiness for all of us. Have you recovered from your tour across America?  You must still be exhausted.  I have no idea how you kept 3 boys from going bonkers during those long hours on the road.
~ The Christoff/Kelly Family ~

From Tasha:   I owe a very special thank you to Sophie's family, who took care of Everlasting Joy during our family vacation to Colorado... which turned into an emergency extended trip to Seattle after my Grandma died.  Joy was at "Camp Kelly" for many days more than expected and she was well loved and doted upon, including photos by email to calm my worries.

Hi Tasha.  We just got back from my dad's place in  WI.  These pictures turned out so great I had to share them with my fellow doodle-lovers!  Teddy is my best little furry buddy!  I took a very long walk today and took lots of nature photos.  He's a perfect subject!
~ The Christensen Family ~

Hi Tasha, I just wanted to write a note to you.  I cannot begin to tell you how much joy Wrigley brings to us.  He is so sweet & so cuddly & just so playful.  Every time we take a walk we can hardly go anywhere without everyone asking if they can pet him.  I have a neighbor across the street who has always HATED dogs.  She already told her husband if she thought she could get a dog like Wrigley she would.  She no longer comes over to visit with me... she comes to see Wrigley.  It's amazing how she just can't get enough of him. He's amazing.  On my work days he gets up about 7:00 - 7:15 a.m.  Today is my day off & he slept until 8:30 a.m.  When we are outside (with the invisible fence) & I call him if I can't see him for a minute or two he just comes running & prancing along... he is so proud of himself.

I put my hand on his paw & he puts his paw on my hand... he's adorable. I know Steve wrote about our little Tela to you (grandchild), but I know he didn't happen to mention the 1st time we went to our son & daughter-in-law's place after they had the baby Steve said... "look at her little paws".  It was really funny.

As soon as we settle down a little bit with Tela I would like to set up a date for you to see Wrigley... and ANY time you are this way please do come over. Very Fondly,
~ The Ryback Family ~

Tasha,  It was 6 months ago yesterday since Toby has been in our home.  He has been a blessing to our family.  I thought our home was loud before!  The kids want to play with him non-stop!  He has been so much fun and our boys just love him.  He follows me around the house.  He will not eat unless we are in the same room with him.  We have his kennel in the family room and when we are all in there watching TV, he will come in and asks us to pet him, then he goes and lies in his crate.  He is very sweet, but boy, when he's ready to play, you better be ready to play!  I have attached a pic of Scott with Toby.  Our entire family can't believe Scott loves him as much as he does because he was the one that needed convincing to get a dog.  I still can't believe it!
~ The Schauer Family ~

Hi Tasha, Wrigley is unbelievable! He hardly ever barks, just when he wants you to know that he is ready to play. I remember that you told us that Joy follows you where ever you go, same thing with Wrigley. Donna or I can go up and down the stairs 100 times a day and right next to us is Wrigley.

Wrigley gets bigger & bigger each day.... Right now he weighs about 24 lbs. and he will be 6 months old on Saturday..... as I'm sure you know.  He is just our great big, precious baby.... our fur ball.  As you can tell, we are absolutely crazy about him. :-)   Wrigley is everything that we wanted.
~ The Rybacks ~

Good Morning Tasha,  Wrigley is so precious....... we are so crazy about him...... it's amazing.  Every day he does something that's cuter than the day before, if possible.  I know I'm going to be rambling on & on, but he's worth it!  When he gets up in the morning he sort of gives a little cry or sound to let us know he's up.  I yell down 'I'll be right there' & he waits without a sound.  I sit down by his crate & when he comes out of his crate he simply has to stretch & stretch & stretch.

A couple of days ago a commercial for a new movie came on & he stopped what he was doing, walked up to the TV & sat down.  Needless to say it was Snow Buddies & of course we went to Target last night to get the DVD for him.  He just loves everything.  He is about 20 lbs & you hear every pound of him when he's running around.... I call him thunder foot.  Everyone that meets him is really in awe of him.... his color..... his face.... his cute personality.... his hair.. the fleecy type that we wanted!!  He loves to play with other dogs... now that he's had all of his shots.... Anyway here are some pictures of Wrigley.

Hope all is well with you & your family.... Steve & I cannot get enough of him :-)  He's like a teddy bear..... except he's always kissing us.... he has added so much to our family.... Thank you again sooooooo much.... as you can see we just love him ;-)
~ Love, The Ryback Family ~

Tasha, I wanted to send you this picture...I took Toby to the groomers a few weeks ago.  Now, of course I think he is the cutest dog ever, but when I picked him up I couldn't believe how cute he was.
~ Schauer Family ~

Hi Tasha! Sadie (16 weeks) had her shots today and she's a whopping 13.9 pounds!  They're taking bets at the vet's office as to how big she'll get...by the way, I really like the vet my friend recommended & so does Sadie.  His name is Dr. Andy Cox & he's with All Creatures Animal Hospital if you want to add him to your "Good Vet" list. I'm told all the doctors there are great, but I've only met Dr. Cox.

Sadie is not suffering from lack of attention - she's the sweetest thing - when she's not chewing holes in the carpet (she flips over the edge & chews from the back of the rug - very sneaky!) or running off with one of the kids' shoes! She caught on to ringing her bell to be let out & hasn't had an accident in the house in weeks. We love her dearly & really can't imagine the house without the sound of her little paws!! Hope you & your family are well - talk to you soon!
~ Mistretta Family ~

Hi Tasha.  Here are cute photos from Teddy's last visit with Sophie (both 3 months).  I also included a silly picture of my kids with Teddy in a New Year's Eve hat - playing the good sport that he always is!  :)

Teddy's coat is just beautiful.  He's so plush and soft that we just want to cuddle him all of the time!  He's doing great with the potty training.  He's ringing his bell on the back door most of the time now when he needs to go out (or just wants to go out and sniff around!).  We're still taking him out at very regular intervals too.

My husband and kids tease me about how attached Teddy is to me literally and figuratively.  He's like my little shadow, following me everywhere!  He cries for me when I'm upstairs and he's not.  I often take him out in the car with me to run the kids places or to do quick one-stop errands.  He has a little fleece-lined harness style seat belt so that he can safely ride up front next to me.  He's got his fleece blanket on his car seat, and he's as happy as can be to travel around with us.

Everybody loves him.  The neighbors all stop us as we pass by on a walk to pet him and play with  him.  He's like a little goodwill ambassador!  You should be so proud of the wonderful puppies you are breeding.  Teddy has a great temperament, is incredibly affectionate and eager to please, and is the world's cutest little guy! I hope all is well with you and your family!  Merry Christmas!
~ Christensen Family ~

Hi Tasha, Winston (3 months) is doing awesome!  He is the complete puppy.  Winston loves just hanging out with us and being included in whatever we are doing. He also loves to play with Vader (our 2 1/2 year old black lab) and they supply us with hours of entertainment. Winston has his next doctors appointment on the 16th and I will get you the information you have requested from us. Winston is so beautiful.  His color, coat texture and length, his build, his personality, we really love everything about him.  I will send you a picture soon.  Hope you had wonderful holidays.
~ Allcock Family ~

Dear Tasha, Quick update on little Toby (3 months).  Took him for his final puppy check up yesterday! He is now 11.8#  Doctor says he looks fantastic.  We start school tonight and we are looking forward to it!  He is very lively and a lot of fun.  The kids just adore him.  Everyone says he is so cute.  Even people who are not "dog people", say is too cute!  Here are some pics!  ENJOY!
~ Schauer Family ~

Hi Tasha, I just thought that I would drop you a note to tell you how things are going with Wrigley (4 months). First of all, there isn't a day that goes by without either Donna or myself saying " look at Wrigley", two seconds later " look at Wrigley", maybe ten seconds later "look what he's doing, go get the camera". He has really put a smile on our faces. Naturally raising a puppy at our age (cough - cough) is not that easy, but he is well worth the occasional accident or mouthing cut. He is really getting big, everyday you can see the difference.  I took Wrigley for his last round of shots (except for the rabies) on Dec. 28th and he weighed 14lb 7oz.

I don't know if Donna told you, but Wrigley had an allergic reaction to the first puppy shot. When I took him home he vomited and just laid down in the dog run. We immediately called the vet who said that we should bring him back right away. They gave him some meds intravenously and thankfully he was alright. The vet said that this happens once in awhile so from now on before any shot we will give him a half of a Benadryl tablet.

Attached is one of a zillion pictures of Wrigley, the only problem is that they do not do him justice.

Dear Tasha, As I write this note a tuckered out Sophie (2 months) is laying on my feet. I just wanted you to know how well she is doing.  She is such a joy to have in our home. I must say that I believe she is the smartest dog I have ever experienced. She is great at communicating her needs to us and very rarely has an accidents. She sleeps through the night without a hitch. Also, my little 6 pounder is about up to 9 pounds.

It's a joy to see her grow and we are taking as many pictures as we can before she loses her "puppiness". I have attached our official Christmas photo for you. We wish you and your family a very joyous Christmas and a healthy New Year. I will update you about my little darling soon after the holidays.
~ Christoff-Kelly Family ~

Teddy and Sophie recently had a playdate!
The pictures [of our playdate] are just wonderful.  We had such fun time.  Teddy is a absolute dear.  I hope we can get together soon.  It's snowing now and Sophie and I just came in from playing in the snow.  She was fascinated with the quiet of the snow falling and came in looking like a polar bear.  I have to tell you it is such a comfort to be at home with a sweet puppy draped on my leg.  This is a great time of the year. Teddy is loving life and all the people he meets and the people all adore him.
~ Sophie's Mom ~

Tasha, I think it would be tough to find much cuter puppies anywhere!  :)  And Teddy has the world's sweetest, most loving disposition.  He's bringing such joy to our lives!
~ Christensen Family ~

Dear Tasha, Wanted to give you and update on Toby.  He is absolutely wonderful.  He is such a great dog.  He is already letting us know if he needs to go out!  He will stand by the door or let out a few good yelps!  Last night he slept for 8 hours!  He does wonderfully in his crate at night.  Not a peep out of him! Thank you for all that you have done to make the transition easy for our little guy.  He has fit right into our family.

Everyone says he is the cutest puppy they have ever seen!  Of course, we agree!  I took him to the vet today and he was pleasantly surprised at what a wonderful breeder you are!  Thank you!

Hi Tasha, here is a picture of Teddy with the kids right after we got home yesterday.  What a happy bunch! :)  We had a good first day and night with Teddy.  He only had one little piddle on the back hall rug as we were getting ready to take him out.  He loves the backyard and running in the leaves.  He is hilarious to watch in the backyard - he really bounces and pounces more than he runs!  We've found that we have to make things very boring when it's meal time, or he'll get too excited to eat.  He slept from about 10:45 p.m. to 6:15 am the first night, which was great!  He only whimpered a little after I put him in his crate for the night.  I pet him for a few minutes and then he curled up for the night.

He loves his big poofy bed from Orvis (for heavy chewers!) and he jumps on it like it's a trampoline, and then gets unbalanced and rolls off the sides, much to his surprise!  I think I must remind him of you because he's getting attached to me very quickly.  He's so cute the way he'll wander from the kitchen to the back hall and then to the office to check on all of us.  He is just gobbling up all of the loving he's getting!

Teddy's check up today went very well.  Our vet said that he looks very healthy and adorable!  Our vet was so impressed by how well he is sleeping.  Tasha, I think you did a wonderful job getting the puppies used to their crates.  He loves his crate in the back hall, with the plush fleecy pad.  He naps during the day with his head resting on his blue toy lamb or on the fleecy pad flap in the doorway to his crate.  He'll come out to get a drink of water and then happily go back in to curl up and rest. The back hall is right by the kitchen so he can see us in either the kitchen or the office from his crate and can hear the family talking.

He napped a lot yesterday after playing for a long time with about 10 neighbor kids. :)  The neighbors are stopping over asking to meet him!  He loves exploring with us in the backyard.  I'm constantly taking leaves out of his mouth.  We're going to designate an outside toy to come out in the yard to try to keep his curious mouth busy!

My husband is just nuts about Teddy (He's usually so low key and doesn't get exuberant about a lot of things)!  He keeps saying what a great temperament he has, how good he is about going potty outside and that he's not a big barker.
The only barking he's done is at a small tupperware bowl we gave him to play with today.  :)  We are so in love with Teddy!

Tasha, I have to tell you that we have the BEST puppy in the world!  The crate training is going so well - she's slept thru the night (10 - 6:15am) both nights!! YEAH!!  She had her vet checkup today & he marveled at the beautiful dog you bred - we love her & so does everyone who meets her - she has the best disposition and the cutest little face we've ever seen!!  We couldn't be happier with our girl (and her wonderful 'first family' - The Millers) - it's evident that you have certainly loved on this pup a lot.

We promise to keep up the good work you began and keep you updated with her progress - I will email photos as soon as I can...and thanks for the advice!

Hi Tasha,
Oh is he ever a sweetheart.  We can't get enough of him :)  He slept from 10:00 PM until 6:30 AM.  He is such a cuddler... he's either playing and running around or you can pick him up at any time & he'll snuggle with you.  Also, this is so funny... we have a mirrored wall unit in our family room and every time he runs by it, he must think there's another dog... so he either tries to touch it with his paw or growls at it.  It is too cute.  I can't stop laughing every time he does that.

He seems to love everything.  He has a wonderful disposition and he did not seem frightened or scared at all yesterday, just happy to please & kiss.  In the car on the way home he was crying, but we thought best to ignore it & then he did stop crying.  I think I could probably go on & on & on...

Tasha, I just want you to know what a special place you hold in my heart :)  Thank you again for letting us "adopt" Wrigley...we'll take good care of him.  Thanksgiving and its meaning is one of the nicest holidays... what a great time to get our little "Wrigley."

Dear Tasha and Family,
This gift is a little thank you to you for making the process of finding and adopting a labradoodle puppy such a wonderful experience in every way.  Tasha, your website immediately stood out from the rest that I researched.  Your obvious love and care for your dogs, before, during and after their birth and going-home-day are beautifully evident.  You've made our experience fun and exciting with regular website updates and e-mails.  Your website and e-mail responses to questions have made the experience very educational and confidence building.  We want to thank your sons for all the love and affection they've showered on the puppies, so that they will be well-socialized when we bring ours home.  Thank you to your husband for supporting your wonderful breeding program.  We would very highly recommend you to family and friends.  We'll have fun keeping you updated on Teddy's new life.

More than anything I want to thank you for breeding such beautiful F1B labradoodles which are making it possible for our family, with several members with asthma and allergies to *finally* adopt a dog with confidence and even the positive feedback from our allergy-asthma doctor about the F1B labradoodle breed.  Picking up Teddy to bring him home will be one of the happiest days, and soon to be best memories of our family life!  Enjoy sharing our little token of appreciation with your human family and Joy and Bella!

there is not necessarily anything wrong with you,
but there may be something wrong with your life.
